How would I make a Zip Line? - zip line installation

I have a zip line. Moving from my window to the tree in my garden. I buy a ski rope handle and a durable type of clip. (Sorry, I do not know what that is called, help me out?) And I have a dog tie. I wondered if I could place a nylon rope. Please help me! Thank you!
